  For fifteen years, Dr. Hans de Berg, first vice president of the Bolivian Catholic University in Cochabamba, undertook the compiling of all that was written, throughout Bolivia and the world, on Bolivian cultures and ethnic groups. This first attempt, as a product of his passion and respect for the history of Andean people, is now the most comprehensive database on the subject in the continent.
